How to Successfully Apply InkTra Heat Transfers

Get a premium, screen printed finish in just 10 seconds with Inktra Heat Transfers.

Step one, isolate your print area. This ensures you have a flat surface for accurate pressure which is vital for a long-lasting application. Make sure any seams, zips, or collars are off the heat press platen, and just the area you want to print onto is isolated.

Step two, pre-press! Remove any creases and moisture from the garment, and check your pressure is correct before applying your InkTra Heat Transfer.

Step three, apply your InkTra Transfer. This is a one-step application. No second fuse necessary. InkTra Heat Transfers have been designed to unlock and adhere at a specific time, temperature, and pressure. 160°C for 10 seconds with a medium pressure and a hot peel.

Following the application instructions for your transfer is the most important element. Also ensuring you have a reliable heat press like a Hotronix for consistent temperature and accurate pressure, is a key element here.
